SeamBackGARMENT REBUILD RECORDER

SEAMBACK SUPPORT

Keep your work moving.

Record before opening a seam

Create a garment, capture a seam and name the two edges. Add reference photos and the allowance you measured. Give matching A/B locations the same code. Photos and manual markers are observations, not automatic measurements.

Save and resume

Use Save in the capture navigation bar. Save & capture next starts another record. If interrupted, resume the saved capture draft from the project; discard it explicitly before starting a different capture there.

Removal and rebuilding

Use Mark removed after opening a connection. For a mistaken entry, use Undo removal and confirm Recorded in error. Its original snapshot stays in the audit history. Check any existing rebuild steps flagged for review. A draft starts in reverse removal order; edit it to your actual sewing sequence.

Back up before changing devices

In Settings, choose Export full backup, then Save to Files in Apple's share sheet. A prepared backup is not yet a saved external copy. Choose Restore backup on the destination device; restore adds independent copies and keeps existing garments. Backups include stored photos and annotations.

Missing or damaged photos

Records and healthy photos remain available. Export the recovery ZIP before replacing a damaged reference. Extract it in Files or Finder to inspect exact metadata and available image bytes. The recovery package is not a normal in-app backup.

Lifetime Pro and restore

Free users can create 3 garments plus the editable example. Archived garments count toward that limit. Pro adds unlimited garment creation and PDF instructions. Existing records, including restored ones, remain editable without Pro. Open Settings → SeamBack Pro → Restore Purchases with the same App Store account. Apple manages purchase approvals, charges and refunds. A garment backup does not contain your purchase entitlement.
